Apparently good ol’ laptops are becoming passé these days – with the imminent arrival of Project Inkwell’s Spark PC.
Sporting a fold-out keyboard, scrolling switch for scanning the super slim screen, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a zipper pocket designed for the matching mini Bluetooth wireless mouse and a spare battery – it’s certainly eye-catching.

Aimed at the under-12 market (that’s an entire market!?), the company wants to put an easy-to-use mobile device into the hands of all students, allowing them to learn anytime – anywhere.
One wonders if this nifty device will usher in a new age of home schooling – since so much of the 21st century kid’s life is already spent on PC and mobile, it wouldn’t be a far leap. I guess gone are the days of swapping cards on the playground writing out homework!
No official launch date or selling price has yet been set – and we wait to see whether its price will be as neat as its design.
